Location: Bristol

Compensation: £30,000 - £35,000 / year

Description

We're seeking a talented Middleweight Copywriter to join our creative team in Bristol on a 3-month contract. Reporting to the EMEA Creative Director, you'll support our senior copywriters in delivering exceptional copy and content for household name brands. This role is perfect for a creative professional who loves crafting flawless copy across all formats - from impactful short-form content to compelling longer narratives. You'll collaborate closely with senior copywriters and our design team, bringing creativity and passion for language to every project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create compelling copy across diverse channels including digital display ads, digital OOH, social media, email campaigns, and print media
  • Write and proofread internal marketing blogs and social media posts
  • Collaborate with designers to provide copy that complements design, graphics, and presentations
  • Submit draft copy to senior copywriters for review within specified deadlines
  • Incorporate feedback effectively and drive work forward to completion
  • Maintain brand consistency and ensure all copy aligns with client objectives
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure copy is on-brief and on-brand
  • Adapt and apply each brand's unique tone of voice across all deliverables

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 2+ years of copywriting experience, preferably within a creative agency environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and ability to translate ideas into compelling copy
  • Published copywriting work across digital channels
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to deliver quality work in deadline-driven environments with strong time-management skills
  • Strong research skills and ability to clearly articulate creative rationales both verbally and in writing
  • Understanding of brand messaging and audience-appropriate communication
  • Flexibility to adapt ideas based on client needs and feedback
  • Proactive, self-starting approach with an inquisitive mindset and willingness to learn from feedback
  • Passion for writing and continuous professional development
