We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher for an Outstanding 3-form entry school in Redbridge, starting after the February half term 2025. This is a full-time position. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.

Reception Teacher Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of Reception students.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a love for learning.

  • Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, keeping them updated on their child’s progress and development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide activities as required.
Reception Teacher Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Reception, with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Passion for high-quality teaching and nurturing young children in their early years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
