Job summary

Rio Tinto in London seeks a Senior Business Analyst for Copper Growth & Development to deliver financial and strategic analyses supporting acquisitions, partnerships and divestments. You will work with the Copper Product Group and senior leaders on live transactions in a global portfolio.

The role combines deep financial modelling with scenario testing, risk assessment and value creation, contributing to governance and investment submissions across the group.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in advanced financial modelling, valuation and analytical capability including DCF, scenario & sensitivity modelling.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial modelling, valuation and commercial analysis for transactions and growth opportunities.
• Evaluate business development opportunities using market, industry, commercial and financial information.
• Build and maintain business cases for acquisitions, partnerships, divestments and growth projects.
• Support due diligence activities and challenge assumptions across finance, tax, funding and valuation.
