Job summary

JCDecaux UK is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build and operate scalable AI solutions, focusing on Copilot implementations and agentic AI that augment users and automate complex workflows.

You will translate business needs into production-grade AI assistants embedded in products and processes, overseeing from experimentation to deployment and support while aligning with security and ethical AI requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/DS/Software Eng or related field.
• Hands-on experience designing, building and deploying Copilot/agentic AI solutions.
• Strong Python for AI/ML with ML libraries (TensorFlow/PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy).
• Experience integrating AI services with enterprise systems via APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud AI services (Azure) and related platforms.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI copilots and agentic AI solutions that assist users and automate multi-step tasks.
• Translate business use cases into Copilot scenarios, prompts and agent behaviours; define scalable architectures.
• Build AI components (e.g., RAG, classification, recommendation, summarisation) using Python and ML/LLM frameworks.
• Implement end-to-end MLOps pipelines for development, testing and deployment; productionize solutions.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems via APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with data engineers on data pipelines and large-scale processing.
