University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust in Coventry is inviting applications for a Band 6 clinical sister/charge Nurse for COPAT on a fixed term basis. You will provide clinical leadership, supervise a team and drive best practice within the department.

The role involves leading shifts, assessing patients, coordinating care in the community following COPAT assessment, and deputising for the department manager as required. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Competenze

• Current NMC registration and driving medical fitness as required.
• Willingness to undertake teaching and assessment responsibilities.
• Cannulation and venepuncture qualifications expected.

Mansioni

• Lead and manage COPAT on a fixed-term basis, providing clinical leadership.
• Assess and plan care, supervise staff, and participate in service development.
• Communicate effectively with patients, carers and the multi-professional team.
• Ensure infection control, safety and policy adherence across the department.
