Coordinator, UK Film Business & Legal Affairs

Netflix’s UK Business & Legal Affairs team is seeking an experienced coordinator to support the UK Film Business & Legal Affairs team based in London. The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring smooth and efficient workflows. This demanding and fast-paced role requires curiosity and significant initiative.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Contract administration and document management
  2. Creating, updating, and tracking spreadsheets with deal terms, options, credits, etc., and assisting with timely notifications
  3. Managing forms and document management systems
  4. Summarising and coordinating deliveries for chain of titles
  5. Assisting team members with deal data
  6. Facilitating and improving cross-functional communication, alignment, and collaboration with other departments (including finance, production, delivery, and legal teams)
  7. Assisting with drafting simple agreements, e.g., certificates of engagement and standard form production contracts
  8. Increasing team operational efficiency
  9. Maintaining flexibility and openness to take on additional projects as necessary
Candidate Profile:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent preferred; at least 2 years of paralegal or coordinator experience required
  • Content-related work experience, especially in or alongside a business and/or legal affairs department, is a plus
  • Experience with contract review, understanding and analyzing deal data, and distilling key terms
  • Good judgment and strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, independent, and reliable work ethic, capable of managing tight schedules in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration, practical thinking, and solution-oriented approach
  • Adaptability to change and openness to new ideas
