This position falls within the Facilities and Technical Services (FTS) team in Science, supporting the teaching and, where resources allow, research activities for the :
The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing a technical team, provide service to teaching delivery, and will work as part of a larger FTS team that provides a range of technical services and advice to ensure the effective delivery and maintenance of the capability and operation of teaching and research laboratories and facilities. This team works closely with the following disciplines :
The role manages the day-to-day coordination of laboratory support services (including workforce and workload planning) to ensure that the teaching and research needs of various disciplines and research groups are met efficiently and effectively.
