About the Role & Team

At Disney Entertainment & ESPN Content Platforms & Operations, we are the driving force behind how Disney content is delivered to audiences worldwide. Our Content & Localisation Management (CLM) team plays a critical role in bringing our stories to global audiences, overseeing the localisation and delivery of content across ABC, FX, and Disney+ platforms. From coordinating dubbed and subtitled versions of our latest series to ensuring the creation of technically perfect master files, we work at the intersection of creativity, logistics, and technology.

About the Team

You’ll join a high-performing, detail-oriented team dedicated to the seamless delivery of Disney content worldwide. The CLM team operates at the core of Disney’s global distribution operations, collaborating closely with production, mastering, and digital distribution to ensure high-quality localised experiences for every market.

What You Will Do

As a Coordinator (Localisation Operations), you will manage the end-to-end operational process for content localisation and digital asset creation across our linear and streaming platforms. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of localised versions, language masters, and supporting metadata.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned titles, managing localisation workflows including dubbing, subtitling, access services, and metadata.
  • Raise and track orders for localisation and asset creation through internal systems (e.g., DOT, Coupa), ensuring timely delivery within SLAs.
  • Coordinate the creation of Localised Language Masters (LMs) and digital components, maintaining consistency with Disney technical specifications.
  • Liaise with internal teams and global stakeholders (e.g., Burbank operations, Disney+ validation teams) to align on delivery timelines.
  • Oversee delivery schedules across multiple territories, resolving bottlenecks and rejections via Jira and other platforms.
  • Maintain accurate status updates across various databases, ensuring real-time visibility into localisation progress.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to the on-time delivery of localisation elements.
  • Support testing, innovation, and process improvements across the department, contributing ideas to optimise workflows.
  • Provide cover for colleagues and support wider departmental goals and initiatives.
  • Represent the CLM team in cross-departmental meetings and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Content Operations Expertise: Background in production, operations, or localisation within a creative or media environment.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Technical Know-How: Familiarity with digital mastering, file-based workflows, and localisation systems. Experience with systems like DOT, Jira, Coupa, and SAP is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing assets, metadata, and content schedules.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills, with experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to track metrics, identify issues in delivery pipelines, and proactively resolve them.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent practical experience.
  • Understanding of broadcast and streaming platform requirements.
  • Experience working with localisation vendors and multilingual content.
  • Familiarity with access services (e.g., closed captions, audio description).

Additional Information

  • Flexibility may be required for occasional international collaboration across time zones.
  • Opportunities to work on ad-hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives as the business evolves.
  • Training and development support available to help grow your career within Disney.
