Job Summary
The Coordinator II – Logistics and Trade Compliance is responsible for administering logistics and trade compliance functions to ensure efficient cargo movement for global operations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Administers the import/export compliance program, working with the Logistics and Trade Compliance group to ensure controls meet legal and regulatory obligations.
- Provides assistance for emergency shipments, customs questions, missing documents, to prevent delays across global locations.
- Manages logistics resources to ensure timely, accurate deliveries at the lowest cost.
- Monitors worldwide import operations in the UK, Europe, Norway, Africa, and other areas of responsibility.
- Utilizes AI to generate data sets for RGR imports from UKCS.
- Seeks ways to improve efficiency and streamline logistics processes.
- Provides logistics support during emergencies.
- Maintains relationships with logistics vendors.
- Identifies inefficiencies and growth opportunities within the distribution network.
- Reduces logistics costs through benchmarking, consolidations, and negotiations.
- Ensures timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, managing import/export documentation and customs compliance.
- Coordinates with Trade Compliance to ensure adherence to customs and tax regulations.
- Participates in planning meetings and monitors KPIs regularly.
- Attends governance meetings with freight forwarders and expands knowledge on customs and compliance in the EUM region.
Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum years of logistics experience in oil and gas or freight forwarding.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot preferred.
Skills & Experience

- Willing to adopt AI tools in daily work.
- Effective communicator across organizational levels and cultures.
- Solid understanding of Incoterms and trade compliance.
- Knowledge of offshore drilling equipment is a plus.
