Job Description:

The One Group are pleased to be working with a leading provider of gears and gearboxes to a range of sectors in Hertfordshire who are seeking a CMM Programmer on a day shift to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and we are seeking a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills to assist with product quality improvement activities, compliance with customer specifications, and improving efficiencies of procedures in SOPs in compliance with AS9100 standards.

The day-to-day duties include:

  • Inspect machined components
  • Create FAIR reports
  • First off and final inspection
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in the business management systems

What we are looking for:

  • Quality Inspector experience across Automotive, Aerospace, and Medical device industries
  • CMM Programming and operation
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100
  • The ability to read engineering drawings
