What will my role look like?

Our Transport manager is looking for a reliable and hardworking HGV Driver to join the team. If you are an HGV or Class 2 driver seeking work/life balance and prefer knowing your shift patterns in advance, this might be the right opportunity for you.

As an HGV Driver, your typical day starts between 2:00 am and 3:00 am. You will start your early morning shift at our bakery, perform checks, and load your vehicle with Cooplands products. Once ready, you will travel along a structured route delivering products to our retail destinations. After completing your deliveries, you will return to the bakery and prepare your vehicle for the next day.

This is a full-time, 40-hour permanent role with guaranteed hours, including 45 minutes of paid breaks. We operate on a 7-week rolling shift pattern (including weekends), allowing you to enjoy a healthy work/life balance with predictable shifts.

Due to the physically demanding nature of the role and repetitive heavy lifting, we are seeking a physically fit individual who enjoys early mornings and working in a routine-driven, fast-paced environment.

Candidate Requirements:

• Class 2 License
• Up-to-date CPC (All CPC hours included and paid)
• Physically capable, as heavy lifting is involved
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability for early morning starts between 2 am and 3 am
• Experience is preferred but not essential
