Cooling System Engineer - London South

Location: London South (Home-Based, UK Travel Required)
Salary: Up to £43K + Overtime Available
Training: Schneider European Factory Training Provided

About the Role

We are seeking a Cooling System Engineer to work within data centre environments, providing expert service for refrigeration and air conditioning systems. If you have chilled water and chiller experience, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Install, commission, maintain, and repair chilled water and chiller systems
2. Diagnose and resolve cooling system faults
3. Conduct site surveys and client consultations
4. Manage on-site installations and coordinate projects
5. Deliver high-quality client service and training when required
6. Work closely with internal teams to improve service levels
7. Complete reports and ensure proper handling of parts

Requirements

1. Recognised formal qualification in refrigeration & air conditioning (e.g. City & Guilds)
2. F-Gas certification preferred
3. Experience in chilled water refrigeration and chiller systems (not supermarket or office AC)
4. CSCS card or similar certification
5. Strong knowledge of HVAC controllers and mechanical/electrical components
6. Full clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
7. Must be prepared for an on-call rota
8. Able to work independently and within a team
