Job description

We are seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our friendly catering team at the Granary Restaurant, located at the Rare Breeds Centre, on a 28 hour per week annualised contract.

This role operates on an annualised hours contract, reflecting our seasonal opening schedule--7 days a week in the sunny months and 5 days in winter. You will need to be flexible and available to work shifts that include weekends and bank holidays. There may also be opportunities for additional hours during our peak periods.

About You

We are looking for someone with at least one year of commercial catering experience as a Cook. Ideally, you'll hold or be working towards a formal catering qualification. A Certificate in Food Hygiene at Level 2 or above and a solid understanding of HACCP and food preparation are essential. You'll also need a full UK driving licence to operate the catering buggy.

About The Role

As a Cook at the Rare Breeds Centre, you will prepare and deliver high-quality food to our customers in a timely manner. You'll also ensure all health and safety as well as food hygiene checks are completed and accurately recorded. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cook looking to develop their skills in a supportive and rewarding environment.
