The NHS is seeking a passionate Cook Team Leader to prepare and serve meals at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in catering for large groups, ensuring excellent food safety, and hygiene standards, with a commitment to providing quality meals for patients and staff.
The Catering team have responsibility for producing in excess of 1800 patient meals per day as well providing meals for on staff working on site. Key responsibilities for employees are ensuring all food safety standards are adhered to in accordance with current legislation as well as high standards of cleanliness.

An opportunity has arisen for a Cook Team Leader who is enthusiastic, reliable , motivated and who has experience of producing food. We are looking for an individual who will work well as part of a team and also able to manage their own time. Working hours on a 7 week rota. Shift to include 06:15am - 2:15pm, 7:30am - 3:30pm, 9:15am - 5:15pm and 11am - 7pm.
Basic duties include the preparation and cooking of food for patients, staff, visitors and functions and the maintenance of high standards of quality and hygiene are essential for the post holder.

We are seeking additional Cook to join our team who will be able to support a wide range of duties which include, maintaining standards of hygiene within the kitchen and associated areas, duties will also include cooking for patients with specific dietary requirements the regeneration cook freeze meals, preparation, cooking and service of hot and cold meals as well as snacks for patients and our retail service. The recording of information in accordance with policies and procedures relating to HACCP in order to prove our due diligence previous experience of working within the catering industry will be essential however the successful candidates will receive on the job training. Uniform/protective clothing will also be provided.
