A primary school in Salford is seeking a Cook Supervisor to oversee catering services. Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience in catering and relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds 706 or NVQ2. This role is based at: Tottington Primary School, Bury (BL8 3HR)
Working Hours: 30 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 2:30 pm (includes a 30-minute unpaid break)
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an expanding school, Tottington Primary School. Citywide is committed to improving the diet of young people in Salford. As a Cook Supervisor, you will be customer-focused with the ability to motivate and lead a team in a busy primary school environment. You will be responsible for cooking and organising the catering service within the school, providing healthy school lunches that meet government nutrient standards.
Supervisory experience in catering is essential, along with a high standard of food presentation and hygiene.
Please note that this position is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which costs £49.50. The cost will be deducted from your first four salary payments at £12.38 per month. If you do not start employment for any reason after the DBS has been processed, an invoice for £49.50 will be issued.
