About the role

Pay Details: Grade 4 - £24,790 to £25,584 pro rata, which equates to £12.85/hr to £23.20/hr. Hourly rate enhancements are paid for unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays (plus lieu day for bank holidays).

Working hours:

  • Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm

Hourly rate:

  • Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays: various rates for different times (e.g., 12 am – 6 am, 6 am – 10 pm, 10 pm – 12 am) with applicable time-and-a-half or time-and-a-quarter multipliers.

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (5 shifts), on a 4-week rota including weekends.

Shift hours: 8am – 4pm

Description: To work as part of a team to ensure a quality meal service is provided.

About you

You will need:

  • Previous catering/kitchen experience (desirable)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team, using own initiative
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to participate in training
