Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Cook/Experienced Catering Assistant in their Healthcare sector to join our team in Dundee, DD1 1NQ.
You will assist with the production of hot and cold foods, deli grab & go items, and serve on the hot food counter at breakfast and lunchtime, providing excellent customer care and ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are followed.
Our client is a Christian Charity dedicated to meeting human needs without discrimination. The site offers services supporting addiction, mental health, homelessness, and individuals involved in the criminal justice system. Due to the environment, we seek candidates who are strong-willed, empathetic, socially aware, and comfortable working in challenging situations.

This part-time role involves 25 hours per week over 5 days, including some weekends, with shifts between 7.30 am - 6 pm.
The hourly rate is £13.40.

A day in the life of a Cook:
Prepare hot and cold foods, serve breakfast, main meals, and desserts in a canteen environment within a homeless hostel.
Serve on the hot counter, monitor dish levels, and follow Food Safety protocols.
Manage orders, stock takes, store deliveries, and perform daily/weekly deep cleans and safety checks.
You will be set up for success if you have:
A relevant cookery or culinary qualification is desirable; however, at least 2 years of catering experience is acceptable.
Food hygiene level 2 is preferred but can be obtained via our online portal.
