New Cook Opportunity at Braehead Gardens in Buckhaven.

The Role:

Our Retirement Housing with Meals service, Braehead Gardens in Buckhaven, is looking for the right person to prepare, cook and serve healthy, nutritious dishes and be responsible for menu planning, food purchase and the provision of high-quality meals and snacks for residents in a care setting.

You will:

• ensure that all food hygiene and health and safety standards set by Bield and external regulators are met
• consult with your customers to ensure individual dietary needs are met.

Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Role Requirements:

• experience of delivering a high standard of meal service
• an understanding of nutritional and dietary requirements of older people
• an intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent is desirable.

We Offer:

• Cook hourly rate is £13.20 (£24,018 per annum FTE)
• excellent holidays of up to 34 days each year (pro rata for part-time employees)
