COOK - PART-TIME

The Cook is responsible for:
  • Preparing meals for patients, staff, and guests
  • Serving meals for patients, staff, and guests
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen at all times
  • Consulting with the Dietitian regarding special diets
  • Assisting with delivery of patient supplies as needed
  • Operating the dish machine as needed

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines
  • Use portion control when preparing and serving food
  • Record dish machine temperatures as required
  • Perform daily cleaning of dining and kitchen areas
  • Provide good customer service to patients in the serving line and offer assistance as needed
  • Minimum of one year experience in quantity cooking, knowledge of modified diets, and experience with institutional kitchen equipment
