Oakdene Primary Academy, located at Halidon Way, Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees, TS23 3NS, is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and organized Cook to join our Catering Team. The role involves catering for approximately 190 pupils and staff daily, providing excellent school meal services, and managing the day-to-day operations of our catering facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Ensuring a high-quality, customer-focused catering service for pupils, staff, and visitors.
2. Preparing and serving food, assisting with menu planning, weekly bookkeeping, ordering supplies, and stock control.
3. Organizing theme days and events to promote and develop the catering service.
4. Maintaining high standards of hygiene, health, and safety in food production and service areas, complying with policies and procedures.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Scale SCP 6 (£23,893 FTE) - SCP 9 (£25,119 FTE). Actual starting salary for 30 hours/week, term-time plus two days: £16,492.

Working Pattern: 30 hours/week (8 am to 2 pm), term-time plus two days.
