Qualifications

  • One year of experience as a line cook at a hotel or full-service restaurant.
  • Ability to obtain Food Handling and Sanitation Certification within four weeks of hire.
  • Good attitude and work ethic to ensure operational efficiency.

Job description
Core Responsibilities :
  • Inspect the cleanliness and working condition of all tools equipment and supplies.
  • Check production schedule and pars.
  • Establish priority items for the day.
  • Inform the Chef / Kitchen Mgr. of any supplies that need to be requisitioned for the days tasks.
  • Transport supplies from the storeroom and stock in designated areas.
  • Start prep work on items needed for the particular menu of the day.
  • Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides according to department standards.
  • Inform the Chef / Kitchen Mgr. of any shortages before the item runs out.
  • Inform F&B service staff of 86d items and the amount of available menu specials throughout the meal period.
Qualifications :
  • One Year experience as a line cook at a hotel or full-service restaurant
  • Ability to obtain Food Handling and Sanitation Certification within four weeks of hire
  • Commensurate or transfer skill set is of primary importance
  • Good attitude and work ethic practices in order to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required
