The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a Cook for Millbrow Care Home in Widnes. This 20-hour-a-week role focuses on preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals tailored to each resident's dietary needs, while maintaining stock, hygiene, and records in line with food safety standards.

You will work closely with care staff to support residents' wellbeing and nutritional needs, with knowledge of IDDSI dysphagia standards expected.

Cook post at Millbrow Care Home, a 44-bed nursing home in Widnes that is part of Halton Borough Council's Commissioning and Provision department. The role centres on preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals suited to each resident's dietary needs, while keeping kitchen stock, food safety and records in order. At 20 hours a week, the post serves a home offering general nursing, specialist dementia, long-term, respite and palliative care, working closely with care staff. Knowledge of IDDSI dysphagia standards is expected.
