Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Cook Manager at Holy Trinity C of E Primary School in Rotwell. You will lead a kitchen team to deliver fresh, seasonal meals for students during term time, working Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 1:45pm (27.5 hours/week).

The role focuses on hands-on kitchen management, menu planning, stock control, and ensuring food hygiene compliance, while liaising with on-site clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a kitchen, ideally in schools or high-volume catering environments.
• Skilled in preparing fresh, seasonal food.
• Strong people management and team leadership skills.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with pride in maintaining high standards.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen
