Job summary

Impact Food Group is recruiting a Cook Manager for Grange Moor Primary School in Wakefield. This part‑time role (39 weeks/year) covers 25 hours weekly, 8:30am–1:30pm, term time with inset days.

You’ll lead a school kitchen team to deliver fresh, seasonal meals and maintain strict hygiene standards on site. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include menu planning, stock control, staff coaching, and direct liaison with on‑site clients to ensure smooth service.

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 8:30am-1:30pm (25 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)

Pay Details: £15,050 per Annum

What will I be doing?

As a Cook Manager, you’ll lead a friendly kitchen team to deliver fresh, seasonal meals to students each day. This is a hands‑on management role, where you’ll oversee the kitchen, support your team, and ensure smooth service.
