TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream college in the heart of Bournemouth offering a high standard of education to all their pupils. This widely recognised college boasts fantastic media equipment, sports facilities, and a proven track record in students going on to further education or full-time employment.

The college is looking for a motivated, caring, and passionate cook who can cater to multiple students in a domestic kitchen. With an NVQ Level 3 in food prep or a similar qualification, the successful candidate will cook for around 50 people per day, providing traditional hot meals such as lasagne, chilli con carne, roast, and desserts twice weekly, along with a choice of sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and salad. A cooked breakfast will be provided once per month for staff and students.

The successful Cook will have:

• Level 3 NVQ in food preparation or relevant recognised qualification
• SEN experience in schools or colleges
• DBS and on update service (ideally, will need one processed if they haven't already got one)
• GCSE or equivalent functional skills L2 in Maths and English (ideally)
