About The Role

Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Working Hours: 12.30pm to 6.30pm

Key Responsibilities:
  1. The preparation, cooking, presentation, and service of meals to the highest standards.
  2. Provide food that complies with national nutritional policies and food hygiene standards.
  3. Ensure timely plating and delivery to patient areas.
  4. Contribute to the implementation of service developments, such as new menus and production systems.
  5. Submit requisitions for additional food stores based on demand.
The Ideal Candidate Should Meet The Following Criteria
  1. Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
  2. An enhanced DBS check will be completed for the successful candidate.
  3. Qualified Cook to City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 standard and Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate.
  4. Knowledge and experience across a broad range of cooking methods, recipe formulation, and service requirements.
  5. Knowledge of HACCP & COSHH, acquired through training.
  6. Understanding of Fire Safety as applied in a kitchen setting.
  7. Allergen qualification/training.
