Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our team at 2 Corson Court, Bellshill, North Lanarkshire ML4 2HR on a permanent full -time contract of 35 hours per week.

We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu.

As a Cook your duties would involve menu planning, ordering, preparing ingredients and working alongside the catering assistant.

In return for your enthusiasm and commitment we will offer you: -

  • 35 hours average per week on a 2-week rolling rota working every other weekend, from 10:00am to 6:00pm (with 1 hour unpaid break)
  • Example rota:
  • o Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun
  • o Week 2 - Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.00 per hour

  • Opportunity for additional hours covering for holidays, training & other staff absences.

You must be able in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques will be an advantage.

You will help to keep the kitchen organised and running efficiently while ensuring you follow food handling, sanitation, and food storage procedures.
