Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Cook for Tanworth Court, catering to residents with various needs. This role will be based at Tanworth Court, in the heart of Solihull. The home has been specially designed to cater to the needs of 60 residents living with a range of age-related conditions, physical disabilities, mental health conditions, and some with Dementia. Candidates must be patient, understanding, and respectful of our residents' individual abilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing meals, snacks, and beverages according to residents’ dietary needs
  • Conducting quality checks on food and storage
  • Planning menus based on residents’ preferences and requirements
  • Assisting with food service to ensure a dignified dining experience
  • Maintaining stock records and ordering supplies in line with policies and food safety regulations
  • Keeping the kitchen hygienic and supporting deep cleaning tasks

What we’re looking for:

A genuine caring nature and a desire to make a difference. Experience as a Cook is preferred, ideally with a Food Hygiene and/or Catering qualification, but training can be provided.
