KLONDYKE GROUP LIMITED in our Coffee Shop at Daleside Garden Centre is seeking a full-time permanent Cook to join a small team. You will prepare a range of meals and snacks from our menu, delivering freshly prepared food with excellent customer service.

You will work 32 hours per week over four days, with weekend work required. The role offers a competitive rate of £13.01 per hour and benefits including staff discounts, generous leave, and free parking.

Qualifications

• Experience in cafe/coffee shop cooking is desirable.
• Ability to prepare fresh meals from a set menu.
• Strong food hygiene and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients and hot/cold orders as required.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering.
• Maintain low waste and clean, safe kitchen environments.
• Close down kitchen each day and prep for the next day.

We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Cook to join the team in our Coffee Shop in Daleside Garden Centre.

Our competitive rate of pay is £13.01 per hour.

Hours for the role are 32 per week over 4 days. All positions include weekend working so flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a Cook, you will be responsible for producing a range of meals and snacks from our menu. You will work at part of a small team under the guidance of the Coffee Shop Manager and be passionate about freshly prepared food served with the highest levels of customer service.

What you will be doing as a Cook?

• Prepare fresh ingredients
• Prepare hot and cold food orders to order
• Monitor stock levels and contribute towards the ordering process
• Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste
• Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
• Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
