Job information Cook/Chef (Part time) from the Company Pilgrims Hospices. This Cook/Chef (Part time) vacancy is located in Canterbury, United Kingdom. The role requires candidates with recent GCSE education. Job openings in the Hospitality sector are currently available.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare nutritionally balanced meals for patients, families, and staff according to a daily menu.
  • Cater for corporate and fundraising events with creativity.
  • Interact with patients and families, ensuring they are fed and satisfied.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on special diets for patients.
  • Supervise Catering Assistants.
  • Maintain high standards in food preparation.
  • Participate in training opportunities related to your role.

Salary: £14,599 per annum (+ 50% at weekends and bank holidays). Free on-site parking, subsidised food, and uniform provided.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience in a professional kitchen or similar environment.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and/or relevant catering qualifications.
  • Flexible team player with initiative and good communication skills.
Working Arrangements:

This is a part-time role (21 hours/week) based at Pilgrims Hospice Canterbury. Shifts between 07:00 and 19:30, Monday to Sunday, including early and late shifts. On-site parking, uniform, and subsidised meals are provided.
