Job summary

Chartwells is recruiting a part-time Cook/Chef Manager to oversee operations and lead our culinary team. The role involves 30 hours per week across 43.6 weeks per year, with a focus on high standards of food quality and customer service.

You will manage inventories, budgets and action plans, train staff, ensure Health & Safety compliance, and maintain KPI targets. NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate are required, with at least two years in catering.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cook/Chef Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Chartwells on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week.

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards
• Supervising our culinary and catering teams to ensure we continue to deliver impeccable food and customer service
• Overseeing the efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans

Our ideal Cook/Chef Manager will:
