Job Opportunity: Cook/Chef at Nature Reserve in Essex

At Pertemps Network Catering, we are recruiting two cooks/chefs for a long-term temporary position with our client located in Essex CM3. The role is based at a nature reserve, reservoir, and fishery, where you'll work as part of the catering team in the onsite Coffee Shop & Café.

Job Details

1. Location: Nature reserve, reservoir, and fishery in Essex CM3
2. Role: Cook/Chef in the onsite Coffee Shop & Café
3. Hours: 8am – 3pm
4. Shifts: 3 – 5 days per week on rota, including 3 out of 4 weekends
5. Salary: £12.60 - £14.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and service for visitors and guests
• Working from a traditional menu offering cooked breakfast and lunch options
• Being part of a team of four

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in high-volume catering establishments
• NVQ Catering, Food Hygiene, and Food Allergen certificates (preferred)
• Flexible approach to duties
• Own transport due to remote location
