Qualifications

This role is based at Riversway Nursing and Residential Home in Bristol, supporting 69 residents with various needs. Candidates should be patient, understanding, and respectful of residents' abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing meals, snacks, and beverages per dietary requirements
  • Conducting quality checks on food and storage
  • Planning menus based on residents' preferences
  • Assisting with food service to ensure a dignified dining experience
  • Maintaining stock records and ordering supplies
  • Upholding hygiene standards in the kitchen
  • Understanding Modified Diets and managing the catering team
Ideal Candidate:

Experience as a Cook, ideally with Food Hygiene or Catering qualifications. Knowledge of IDDSI Diet Levels is preferred; training can be provided.
