About the role

As a Cook, you will cater for all people supported within the service, meeting a wide range of medical and dietary requirements.

You should have a well-organized approach and the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.

Brookside is a modern residential care home for adults with disabilities, located in a leafy area of Edgware, north London.

The service adopts a person-centered, flexible approach to ensure residents have control and choice over their care. We recognize that everyone’s needs and aspirations are different, and many factors contribute to a flourishing life.

Residents actively participate in their community, enjoying fitness classes, sports, healthy eating support, and more. Independent living is also a specialty, alongside onsite nursing care.

  • Generous annual leave: 25 days + 8 bank holidays, increasing after 5 years.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Access to employee assistance programs.

We promote inclusion and wellbeing through various services, encouraging participation, contribution, and valued roles in the community.

We are committed to safeguarding and promote the welfare of vulnerable children and adults. All employment offers are subject to an enhanced DBS/Access NI check.
