Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd is seeking a food service assistant at a client school in Bedford to work as part of a team delivering breakfast, lunch and hospitality. You will prepare food from fresh ingredients, follow brand standards and ensure waste control.

You will uphold food hygiene and health & safety policies, manage allergens, and contribute to a high standard of customer service while enjoying opportunities to use seasonal ingredients and develop your chef skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills.

  You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset., Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage

• Knowledge / competencies:

• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.

• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
  An independent pre-preparatory school with an outstanding nursery, located in the heart of Bedford for students from the age of 12 months to 9 years. Catering for about 120 students and teachers daily, we offer a core feeding of Lunch with some hospitality.
