Cook / All-Rounder – Yacht Chef Experience Essential

A couple are seeking an experienced cook/all-rounder — ideally with a background as a yacht chef — to join them both during their travels and while based in London. The role offers the chance to spend 2–3 months a year in Switzerland, a couple of months in America, and time in some of the most beautiful cities in the world.

They travel with a dedicated housekeeping team, so no housekeeping duties are required.

This position is ideal for someone with the flexibility and freedom to travel extensively, and the ability to deliver exceptional cuisine in varied locations and kitchens — much like working aboard a yacht.

Duties include:

• Preparing all daily meals for the couple, with a focus on fresh, seasonal, and healthy Mediterranean-style cuisine, as well as accommodating dietary preferences.

• Creating family-style dinner parties for 4–6 guests, approximately once a week.

• Setting and presenting the table to a high standard.

• Ad hoc driving and running errands.

• Booking restaurants and organising events.

• Serving drinks when required.

Environment:
The household is informal in atmosphere, but expectations and standards remain high. Yacht chef experience is highly valued for the adaptability, organisation, and finesse it brings.

Salary: £60K–£65K GPA
