Overview

Cook 3 — Maybury Primary School

Salary: £25,322 - £25,623 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional) • Hours: 20 per week, 38 weeks sessional

Our cook 1's/catering assistants play a vital role in delivering high quality catering services within schools. Working as part of a team, to deliver a range of meals, basic food preparation and great customer care.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a range of meals and provide basic food preparation in a school setting as part of a team
  • Provide high standards of customer care to pupils and staff
  • Support the preparation and serving of meals in line with food safety and hygiene requirements
Requirements and Compliance
  • This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
  • Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
  • An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the satisfactory outcome of both pre-employment checks.
