Salary: £14,117.09 - £14,830
Hours: 24.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 1:51pm
Dumfries and Galloway Council are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to lead, manage, and cook meals in this busy primary school kitchen at Loreburn Primary School. You will receive support and guidance from your line manager.
Qualifications and Experience: Managerial or supervisory experience in catering, along with cooking skills/experience.
Responsibilities include:
This role involves regulated work with vulnerable children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check before employment.
If you have resided outside the UK in the last 5 years, additional police record checks from the relevant authorities will be required.
This is a fixed-term position for up to 24 months. It may be suitable for attachment with prior approval from your line manager.
