Job summary

Highland Council is seeking a Cook 3 at Mallaig High School in Lochaber. The role involves organising, administering and directly participating in the provision of a multi-choice traditional or cash-cafeteria catering service, including welfare meals.

You will manage production, ordering provisions, cash handling and banking of Highland Council monies. The post is a 29-hour-per-week, fixed-term contract until 30 June 2026.

Requirements

• Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or similar qualification

This position is classified as a regulated role. As such, an Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required depending on your nationality and recent residency history. Specifically, this check will be necessary if you do not meet both of the following criteria:
