Job summary

Highland Council in Mallaig is seeking a Cook 3 at Mallaig High School to organise and directly participate in a traditional or cash café catering service, including welfare meals.

The role is 29 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 30 June 2026, with a salary between £18,816 and £20,598 per year. You will ensure safe food handling and compliance with school nutrition guidance.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.
