A community healthcare provider in Woking is seeking a Part Time Cook to join their Catering team. The role involves preparing and serving food for patients and staff while ensuring food safety standards are met. Experience in catering and good communication skills are essential. We are looking for a part time cook to join our Cateringteam at Woking Community Hospital. We are passionate about the food we providefor our patients, believing it is just as important as the clinical care theyreceive. The team are responsible not only for catering for our ward patientsbut also for cooking for and serving staff and visitors in our Hospital cafe too.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in catering,reliable, enthusiastic and committed to providing a safe and efficient service.Knowledge of special diets and allergens.
Basic literacy, numeracy, computer skills and good communication skills are essential.

The main duties if the role include
The preparation, regeneration and cooling of food
Ensuring food is stored and prepared in accordance withcurrent food safety guidance
Cleaning of kitchen equipment and the environment
Preparing food, and serving visitors and staff in the Hospital Cafe
