Cygnet Paddocks in Widnes is seeking a dedicated Cook to provide nutritious meals for patients, staff and visitors. The role requires adherence to food hygiene standards and collaboration with the care team to meet dietary needs.
The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with shifts 8.00am–6.00pm, and the service emphasizes high-quality care and patient comfort at their neuropsychiatric rehabilitation hospital.

You’ll be working full time, 40 hours per week, creating an excellent experience for the people in our care at Cygnet Paddocks.
Cygnet Paddocks is our specialist neuropsychiatric rehabilitation hospital for men, located in Widnes in the North West. The service provides a dedicated care pathway for men affected by acquired brain injury or neurological conditions, where behaviours that challenge may be the main barrier to recovery and rehabilitation.
The service supports the Level 1 Neuropsychiatric Rehabilitation Pathway for the North West, with a focus on adult males. Cygnet Paddocks has individually designed wards to support a clear and distinctive care and treatment pathway for people affected by acquired brain injury.
The in-house interdisciplinary team includes neuropsychiatry, psychology, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, nurses and support workers, all working together to keep the individual at the heart of their care and discharge planning.
Cygnet Paddocks is rated Good overall by the Care Quality Commission, with the Caring domain rated Outstanding.
