We are seeking a Cook with a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above, to support the Head Cook in the planning, preparation, and service of meals that are both nutritionally balanced and nourishing for the residents.

Rate of Pay: To be discussed at interview

Contract Type: Permanent

Contract Hours: 15 hours Supper Cook, Monday to Wednesday 2 to 7pm

Duties and Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To:

1. To support with compiling seasonal menus with the input of residents, families, and the Home Manager that are varied and suitable for residents, considering backgrounds, culture, and dietary requirements.
2. To be responsible for the delivery of excellence in meal times, dining room experience, and presentation.
3. Ensure the cleanliness and hygienic appearance of the kitchen and be accountable for food standards, meeting health & safety regulations, and monitoring practices.

Essential Skills, Characteristics, and Experience:

• Must hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above.
