PrimeLife Ltd in Skegness is seeking a caring Cook to support residents with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. You will prepare meals, manage dietary needs, and help deliver a dignified dining experience in a supportive home environment.
This role offers regular shifts across a 7-day week, with DBS funding and opportunities for training and progression within a dedicated care team.
This role will be based at Byron House in the seaside town of Skegness. The home is situated close to the seafront, and is in an ideal location for our residents who enjoy getting out and about to enjoy the local attractions. Byron House has been specially designed to cater to the every need of 23 residents, living with a range of learning disabilities and mental health conditions that require dignified support from our caring team. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding and respectful of our resident’s individual abilities.

To be successful within this role, you will have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for our residents. You will be an experienced Cook, ideally holding a Food Hygiene and/or Catering qualification, though this is not essential as Prime Life can support you with the training necessary for this role.
