Job description
St Vincents Retirement Home have an opening for a part time cook, to join our kitchen team, providing home cooked nutritional meals for 25 residents.
Experience in a similar role, especially in residential care home, would be desirable, but not essential. It is more important that you are a really good home cook with the ability to cook traditional, tasty meals, cakes and desserts that older people will enjoy.
We will provide you with a very well equipped professional kitchen and high quality fresh ingredients to design our meals, as well as training.
The role is part time, 25 hours per week, to include some weekend working.
Uniform, training, weekend enhancement and overtime rate paid, Pension, ferry discounts, meals on duty and on site parking.
