We’re hiring two Cooks to join our Retirement Living Team in Rushen, Northampton! Both roles are part-time, working 24 hours per week (6-hour shifts), including alternate weekends. We are open to discussing flexible working patterns during the interview to accommodate individual needs such as childcare and other responsibilities.

As a Cook, you’ll prepare fresh home-cooked meals for our customers, plan fortnightly menus that offer great quality and delicious options, and meet our customers' cultural and dietary needs. You will also manage stock and budgets, including stock taking, placing orders, receiving deliveries, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving home-cooked meals to around 15 customers per day.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Maintaining and cleaning the kitchen and dining areas.
• Planning and participating in themed activities and events for residents.
• Ordering and replenishing food and kitchen supplies within budget.
