Job summary

Hartford Care in Beech Tree Care Home, Overton, is seeking a Cook to join our team on a 40-hour full-time basis. You'll prepare wholesome meals for residents, manage kitchen safety, and contribute to a warm, supportive environment.

We value a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, great communication, and teamwork. Shifts run 8am–6pm, and the role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

The Role

As a Cook, you’ll be at the heart of our home — preparing delicious, wholesome meals and snacks for our residents while keeping the kitchen running smoothly and safely.

From serving a comforting Sunday roast to hosting a bread-making session with residents or planning next week’s menu, you’ll put care and pride into everything you do.
