A leading healthcare organization in Llanelli seeks a Cook to join the Catering Department. The role involves preparing high-quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors within a busy hospital kitchen. Full training will be provided. Candidates should hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent. Weekend and holiday work will be required as part of a rota. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential.
The Catering Department at Prince Philip Hospital is currently looking to recruit a Cook to join a large team of individuals within the department, to provide an effective and efficient cooking service within a hospital environment.
The successful candidate will play an integral role within the team, whilst ensuring that the food is prepared, to the highest standard.
Full training will be given, but the successful candidate will be required to hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent.
The position available is 1 x 30 hour post per week, Monday - Sunday & will also be required to work weekends & bank holidays on a rota basis.
The successful candidate will need to able to work as part of a team producing high quality meals for patients, staff and visitors in a busy commercial kitchen. A flexible approach to the needs of the service and excellent communication skills are also essential. Experience in preparing meals for special dietary needs would be an advantage for this post.

Hours of work are between 06:00am - 18:00pm.
The successful candidate will receive full training & staff uniform.
