Job description

We are seeking a Cook with a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above to support the Head Cook in the planning, preparation, and service of meals that are both nutritionally balanced and nourishing for the residents.

Rate of Pay: £13.30 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent

Contract Hours: Monday - Friday, 4pm to 7pm

Location: Kettering - St Anns

Work Environment: Hospitality

  1. Support with compiling seasonal menus with input from residents, families, and the Home Manager, ensuring a variety of meals that consider backgrounds, cultures, and dietary requirements.
  2. Deliver excellence in meal times and dining experiences, including presentation.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, ensuring food safety and compliance with health & safety regulations.
Essential Skills, Characteristics, and Experience:
  • Must hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above.
