Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Cook to join our team working at RAF Grantown on Spey, PH26 3JL.

Responsibilities include managing food production and levels to minimize waste, supporting new team members with their learning procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.

What we offer:

• Full-time position, 37.5 hours/week, shift pattern 5 days over 7, including weekends. Shifts are 06:00-14:00 or 11:30-19:30, leaving evenings free.
• Hourly rate £12.80.

A day in the life of a Cook:

• Preparing and cooking food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring minimal wastage, serving training personnel and clients.
• Collaborating with a team of chefs and coaching new members on procedures and standards.
• Following recipes to prepare, cook, and serve various meals.
• Handling deliveries, stock checks, food orders, and maintaining kitchen records.
• Monitoring and recording temperatures of kitchen equipment and completing daily paperwork.
• Participating in daily and weekly kitchen cleaning.

Qualifications and skills:

• Relevant culinary qualification (706/1, 706/2, or equivalent) or chef experience.
• Excellent team player and communicator.
• Driving license is essential due to the location.
